巴陵石化公司通过实施“十一五”技改项目，扩大了经营规模；优化了产业结构，初步实现了产业链的升级换代，形成了“专用化、特种化、高档化”的系列主导产品，特种合成橡胶比例从13%提高至30%，特种环氧树脂比例从不到10%提高至46%，己内酰胺、热塑橡胶（锂系聚合物）等生产技术达到国内先进水平；提升了节能减排水平。
