截至2012年上半年，世界己内酰胺的总生产能力达到491万吨，生产主要集中在巴斯夫、帝斯曼（DSM）、宇部工业、霍尼韦尔、中国石化、台湾石油、韩国Capro等7大公司，其中巴斯夫公司和帝斯曼公司的生产能力约占总生产能力的30%，分别达78.5万吨和71万吨，中国石化旗下巴陵石化与石家庄化纤公司的己内酰胺年产能达36万吨，名列宇部工业公司（40.7万吨）之后，与霍尼韦尔并列第四。

As of the first half of 2012, caprolactam worldwide total production capacity reached 4910000 tons, production mainly in BASF, DSM ( DSM ), Ube industries, Honeywell, Sinopec, Taiwan petroleum, South Korea Capro 7 companies, including Basf Inc and Dsm company's production capacity of the total production capacity of 30%, amounted to 785000 tons respectively and 710000 tons, owned by Sinopec Baling Petrochemical and Shijiazhuang chemical fiber company caprolactam annual production capacity of 360000 tons, rank the Ube industries ( 407000 tons ), tied with Honeywell for fourth.
